Stanley E. Reid

Stanley E. Reid holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (with Honours) from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School.  He also pursued studies as an external student of the University of London.  In 1997 he obtained a Masters of Law Degree and in 2010 a Master of Science Degree in Public Policy and Management from that institution.

Mr. Reid is the Principal in his Legal and Consultancy Practice, SER Legal & Consultancy Services.  He began his legal career as Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers and was called to the Bar in Anguilla in 1994.  During his time in the Anguilla Public Service he has served as Senior Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Chambers, Permanent Secretary, Public Administration in the Department of Public Administration and Deputy Governor of Anguilla.   He also acted as Magistrate, Registrar, Attorney General and Governor of Anguilla.

Mr. Reid has co-authored the 3rdedition of the Anguilla CAPE Law series  with Anguillian author and retired Jurist Don Mitchell CBE, QC.
